The National Press Foundation and Fudan University are collaborating to offer a 10-day, all-expenses-paid fellowship in Shanghai, China for U.S. journalists .

China, trading partner to the world, is a major mover of the global economy, international politics and the environment. Chinese businesses are building beachheads in Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asia, while economic growth and rapid urbanization continue at home. Join a select group of 10 U.S. journalists in meetings with scholars, business leaders and Chinese journalists in and around Shanghai. We’ll explore issues such as China’s globalizing economy, including cross-border trading and direct foreign investment; air and water pollution and the growth of “green” industry; the impact of an aging population; the startup economy and more.
