The American Geographical Society (AGS) would like to invite you to join us at the third annual Symposium of the American Geographical Society, Geography 2050: Envisioning a Sustainable Planet, on November 17 (12:30-6pm) and 18 (7:30am-7:30pm), 2016. We have expanded our event to two days, and have over 30 speakers who are leading research and policy in sustainability. Keynote speakers include Dr. Roger Sayre (Senior Scientist at the U.S. Geological Survey) and Mr. William Reilly (Former Administrator, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency). Please view our website for a full list of speakers at www.geography2050.org
For press, we are offering a complimentary registration that includes entry and meals for the two days. We are also happy to help facilitate any interviews that you wish to conduct with our speakers, and will have a place for media to set up in that regard.
Please contact Anastasia Tom at atom@americangeo.org or 917.745.8354, if you would like to attend or arrange to interview a specific speaker.
