DEADLINE: IWMF Gwen Ifill Award

The Gwen Ifill Award was established in honor of the legendary co-anchor of the PBS NewsHour, who passed away in November 2016. The Award is given annually by the International Women's Media Foundation to an outstanding woman or non-binary journalist of color whose work carries forward Gwen Ifill’s legacy.

Candidates for the award must be a woman or non-binary journalist of color in the U.S. with a track record of mentorship, leadership, and a commitment to diversity in journalism. We accept third-party and self-nominations.

Deadline is Feb 23, 2025.
