The Society of Environmental Journalists (SEJ) joined other journalism groups May 6, 2008, in filing a "friend of the court" brief in a Washington state lawsuit seeking access to public officials' e-mails under state law.
Blue Earth Alliance fiscally sponsors documentary projects that educate the public about critical environmental and social issues, especially under-represented stories and voices. Projects can be of any geographic scope involving the photographic and motion picture mediums. Next deadline: Mar 31, 2021.
