"GOP Ads Target Democrats Over 'Green New Deal'"

"The Congressional Leadership Fund, a political action committee with ties to House Republicans, launched ads today against two Democrats over the 'Green New Deal.'

The video spots are part of a growing GOP effort to woo voters who may see the "Green New Deal" and its main backer, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), as too far left.

The ads target Democratic Reps. Antonio Delgado of New York and Colin Allred of Texas. Neither has been a major champion of the "Green New Deal," but the ads work to associate them as much as possible."

Manuel Quiñones reports for Greenwire February 11, 2019.
