"The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) is launching a $175,000 ad campaign backing the administration's new proposal to limit carbon pollution from the nation's existing power plants.
The ads, which will start running on Facebook, Google and Change.org this week, encourage the public to submit a comment in support of the new rules.
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has set a 120-day comment period for the regulations, which seek to cut carbon dioxide emissions from power plants 30 percent by 2030. Typically the public is given 60 days to comment."
