March 30 Climate Summit Previews Coming Battles

An expansive two-day climate change summit in Washington, D.C., on March 30-31, 2009, will provide an opportunity to check out many of the key players who will be involved in looming battles over climate change legislation and future action.

At the request of Congress, the National Academy of Sciences is hosting the session. Attendees are expected to include members of the Obama administration, the US House and Senate, scientists in many related fields, business and nongovernmental organizations, and advocates and lobbyists of all stripes.

If you can't attend, the session will be Webcast.
