New CRS Reports Background FOIA Amendments, Classified Info

The nonpartisan Congressional Research Service has completed two reports useful to journalists - one on the newly passed amendments to the Freedom of Information Act and the other on the system of classified national security information. Since Congress doesn't allow the public to get these taxpayer-funded products, we bring them to you courtesy of the Federation of American Scientists Government Secrecy Project.
